Coach America is not a national provider that will parachute in for this contract than exit once the contract has expired or been awarded to someone else. We have been committed to the North Carolina area for over 80 years and our reputation and success proves that.
We operate over 45 buses a day for the Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART). This partnership between Coach America and PART dates back to 2002.
During that time, the service has grown from a few express routes between Winston Salem and Greensboro to a very robust system serving the entire Triad. Growth has been accomplished through good planning, courteous operators and safe, reliable service.
In fact, a ridership survey from the Summer of 2009 yielded results that acknowledged the partnership's attention to quality.
92.3% of respondents were either Highly Satisfied or Somewhat Satisfied with the PART service.
