Effective October 1st, 2010, Coach America will be providing daily round-trip service between Boone & Charlotte. The round-trip route, which will serve Boone, Lenoir, Hickory, Lincolnton, Gastonia, & Charlotte, will operate seven days a week.
Ticket fares and scheduled stop locations can be downloaded above. Tickets can be purchase online at Greyhound.com, near the Appalachian State University bus stop (Phil's Citgo, 168 Hardin St), at the Hickory bus stop, at the Gastonia bus stop or at the Charlotte bus stop. Prepaid tickets will receive priority seating. Tickets can also be purchased directly from the driver, exact change is required.

Note: Effective immediately, the stop for Wilkes County on the Mountaineer East/West will be relocated to Wilkes Transportation Authority (WTA) at 1010 Spring St. Wilkesboro, NC. The bus will no longer serve Wilkes Community College.
Passengers wishing to continue arriving or departing directly from Wilkes Community College can utilize the WTA Express Shuttle to continue connecting with the campus. Visit the WTA Website for more information.

For the last 4 years Coach America has been the proud operator of PART's Mountaineer Express with a PART branded motorcoach.
Effective November 1st, 2010, this route will be renamed the Mountaineer East/West and Coach America will directly provide daily round-trip service to individual travelers between Boone & Greensboro. The round-trip route, which will serve Boone, N. Wilkesboro, Hamptonville, Winston-Salem, & Greensboro, will operate seven days a week.
We look forward to continuing the great job that PART has done to service folks living along this route and traveling between Boone & Greensboro.
